I figured out a way to run the game through steam i read on reddit i quote: "mine is working fine now on windows 10, no need for compatibility mode what so ever just remember to set the priority to high while the game is loading ,otherwhise it will be stuck at the loading screen" i did this and it works! no more launcher, no more compatibility settings, no more set launch options works. Go to the gta 4 folder and right click on the gta iv.exe than click on properties, compatibility and check the box that disable full screen optimization. this solved it for me. also added the commandline.txt file in the root of the gta 4 folder with the following value "-availablevidmem 3000.0" where the number is the size of the video memory. Double click on launchgtaiv.exe and start the game without gta 4 game stuck problem. wow !!! gta 4 game stuck on the loading screen problem fixed. check out other articles – c program for selection sort. conclusion – by using this method, you can easily solve gta 4 stuck game screen or freeze problem in pc..
